At the age of 18 I became a passionate explorer of all the wisdom I came across, beginning with the gospel according to John, then discovering Nietzsche, then Rudolf Steiner, then various mystic teachings of east and west. And with each year of this fascinating exploration my thirst became vaster and deeper. Since then 25 years passed by – yet – in all those years I didn’t came across something so entirely captivating and consuming my entire being like it is to me right now the study of Sri Aurobindo and his works. To meet this kind of wisdom feels like meeting for the first time in my life the Master Teachings in its purest form and efflorescence – a wisdom and a knowledge “not as a systematized result of questioning and reasoning, not a temporary arrangement of conclusions and opinions in the terms of the highest probability, but rather a pure self-existent and self-luminous Truth… a harmony of supreme faculties… acting not in the intuitive reason or the divine mind, but on a still higher plane, which see Truth directly face to face, or rather live in the truth of things both universal and transcendent and are its formulation and luminous activity.” (Sri Aurobindo, from Synthesis of Yoga, P. 17)
Beginning with today I am going to share those fragments of his work which enamor and speak to me the most – in the hope – that they may find countless discoverers of his timeless wisdom – a wisdom too precious to remain as reclusive as it is still to this very day.
For this purpose I designed an additional page here on this blog called “Sri Aurobindo Studies” – where I will put all those fragments in the chronological order of my studies. Enjoy the ride – Riches Blessings: Arr
